Had availed of Airtel International roaming packs in October a 2023nd March 2024 during our International visits to Turkey and Portugal/ Spain for rs 2999 for 10 days. The services were terminated after 10 days .
Since April 10th am on visit to USA. Received Invoice from Airtel on 24th April for Rs 16863 for 24th March to 24th April, to be paid by 4th May.
Had not availed of International Roaming Services before I left India on 9th April nor was informed by Airtel that International Roaming Services get activated when I leave India.
Spoke to representatives at 121, but no logical answer was receives. Took up the issue with Airtel complaint and received a message that charges have been reduced by Rs 5589.66, if not satisfied was asked to connect with Appellent.
How can Airtel charge for International Roaming Services when I have not asked for nor any information given that International Roaming Services be activated when I leave India.
I am not willing to pay for the International Roaming Services at all. Request inform Airtel to give justice to consumers.
